Park City, Utah 2012

We enjoyed a long weekend of skiing in Park City, Utah in February.  This trip was extra special because it was a long time getting here...last year this trip was cancelled due to severe weather in Utah.  But this year, some fog delayed our departure, but we "all" arrived in Utah on Feb 1st.  Along for the "ride" was Duane, me, Cade and his buddy Haven Henningsen, Jen, Jason, Celia and Ruby.  We stayed with Greg and Sue Feary at their beautiful home in Park City, just minutes from Deer Valley Ski Resort.  It was an incredible trip, we really lucked out with good weather, fresh snow and much fun for all!  Enjoy the show!

Happy Birthday to Duane

In January we like to head South for some fun in the sun and to celebrate Duane's birthday....this year was no different as we zipped off to Cabo for a week.  We managed to talk Jodie and Bob Kollsmith into joining us for some fun in the sun.  Here are some "shots" of our week in Cabo....

Basketball, Basketball, Basketball - our life these days!

Cade moves from one sport to the next with hardly a break in between.  He is in the height of Basketball season and their team is doing well...and Cade is playing awesome!

Colorado "Birthday" Ski Trip!

On Jan 6th, Duane and I snuck off for a quick ski trip to one of our favorite spots - Beaver Creek, Colorado, to celebrate his birthday and get some skiing in.  We had our "usual" good luck with weather and ski'd Saturday just as the snowfall began and woke up Sunday to 9 inches of fresh powder.  The temps were perfect in the 30's.

we got into Colorado on a Friday and spent the day walking around...when we saw this Gelato it reminded us of Italy!

"Christmas Vacation" Day 6 - Universal Studios "Island of Adventure"

Ok, back for some "Adventure"!!  On our final full day of vacation, the kids chose to go back to Universal Studios, but this time to the Island of Adventure Park, which included the Hulk Roller-coaster, Jurassic Park, Spiderman/Toon Town and especially the Main Attraction - Harry Potter!!  We started the day "early" (for us) and hit the rides right away!!  After some excitement, we had a gourmet dinner at Anthony's favorite Chef's restaurant - Emeril's, and went back for more fun, some Butter Beer and another ride on Harry Potter....we finally left when the park closed at 10pm, a late night for us!!

You should always start the day warming up with a little game of football - right guys?!!
